Garurumon (ガルルモン) is a fictional creature from the Digimon franchise, first appearing in 1997. It is a Beast Digimon, resembling a wolf with blue, white, and silver fur, as hard as the legendary rare metal "Mithril." The blades on its shoulders are extremely sharp, capable of cutting anything they touch. Garurumon possesses a fierce combat instinct, muscles honed in freezing lands, and the agility and accuracy of a carnivore, making it feared by other Digimon. However, it has high intelligence and faithfully obeys those it recognizes as its master or leader. Garurumon is commonly known as the partner Digimon of Ishida Yamato, appearing in many Digimon anime, manga, and games. It typically evolves from Gabumon and can further evolve into WereGarurumon and MetalGarurumon. The Japanese name Garurumon (ガルルモン) is derived from the onomatopoeia for a wolf's growl. In different Digimon series, Garurumon's attributes and abilities vary, but its image as a powerful and loyal Digimon remains consistent.
