Gigimon

Gigimon (ギギモン) is a Baby II Digimon in the Digimon franchise. It has a ball-like form with large ears and a thick tail that is black at the end. Gigimon is a pre-evolution form for many stronger Digimon, typically evolving from a Baby I Digimon. It possesses an attack called 'Hot Bite,' where it bites its opponents while its mouth emits a fiery glow. Gigimon first appears as Matsuda Takato's partner Digimon in 'Digimon Tamers,' where Guilmon devolves into Gigimon when returning to the Digital World. Gigimon has also appeared in various other Digimon anime, manga, and games, including 'Digimon Xros Wars' and 'Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth.' The name 'Gigi' in Japanese translates to 'doubt' or 'suspicion.' Despite its small and cute appearance, Gigimon is known for its ferocious personality and strong bite. It evolves into Dragon-type Digimon, unlike Tokomon who evolves into Mammal-type.
