Gizmon: XT

Gizmon: XT (ギズモン：XT) is an artificial Digimon from the Digimon franchise, whose name and design are likely derived from Gizumon and the IBM PC XT. It has the main body of the Gizumon AT type, but with longer limbs, a spherical torso, and a secondary structure on top of its head. Gizmon: XT can fire destructive beams of energy from its eyes, which can cause a Digimon to be permanently deleted rather than simply regress into a Digi-Egg. It can also manipulate the appendages on the sides of its body and extend them to strike enemies. A secondary attack involves unleashing a destructive energy wave from the upper 'eye' on its body. Gizmon: XT is also known to carry a beam weapon with similar functions to its eye beams, capable of harvesting the 'life energy' of Digimon victims. It's often portrayed as lacking self-awareness, carrying out missions based on received orders, and having powers exceeding those of Gizumon AT. In Digimon Savers, Gizmon: XT is pseudo-evolved by Kurata Akihiro using artificial Digisoul and used to collect Digimon life energy. It also appears in games such as Digimon Masters, often as a high-level mercenary Digimon.
