King Chessmon

King Chessmon, known in Japanese as キングチェスモン, is a Puppet Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its design is derived from the white “King” chess piece. King Chessmon is a manipulator behind the scenes, working towards the creation of a great Chessmon empire, though no one knows what this empire actually is, and Digimon in its surroundings are not even interested. King Chessmon is cowardly and rarely attacks on its own, only running away quickly in emergencies. Its catchphrase is, "He that fights and runs away may live to fight another day!" Despite this, it possesses an intellect comparable to a supercomputer and always carries the “King Stick.” In games, King Chessmon typically appears as a high-level Digimon, usually digivolving from BishopChessmon, and in some games, it exists as a collectible card or medal. Its attack methods and abilities vary across different games and media. King Chessmon has also appeared in various Digimon series, including anime, manga, and video games.
