Kudamon (DS)

Kudamon is a Holy Beast Digimon, whose design is inspired by the Japanese legend of the Kudagitsune, or pipe fox. It is always coiled around a Holy Cartridge, from which it draws power. Kudamon wears an earring on its left ear, said to accumulate holy power, and the amount of this power influences its digivolution. Kudamon has a calm and collected personality and is adept at analyzing situations in battle to gain an advantage. When at a disadvantage, it retreats into its cartridge for defense. In Digimon Data Squad, Kudamon is the partner Digimon of Rentaro Satsuma, later revealed to be a disguise of the Royal Knight Digimon Sleipmon. Kudamon's attack techniques include “Bullet Whirlwind” and “Blinding Ray.” The 2006 anime version of Kudamon has a slightly different design than the original, featuring a smaller Holy Cartridge attached to the end of its tail, and a Holy Ring around its neck.
