Cherubimon (Vice)

Cherubimon (Vice), also known as Cherubimon (Evil), is an Ultimate-level Angel Digimon appearing in the Digimon franchise. Its name and design are derived from the mythological Cherub. Originally one of the Three Archangels, it was responsible for protecting the Digital World's 'Kernel' and possessed mighty lightning techniques, considered a divine punishment. However, due to a virus, it fell from grace and became corrupted, easily tainted by 'Vice'. Cherubimon (Vice) has a beast-like appearance, often with black fur, symbolizing its inner darkness. It is skilled in using lightning-based attacks, such as 'Lightning Spear' and 'Heaven's Judgment.' In various Digimon media, Cherubimon (Vice) often appears as an antagonist, its immense power posing a challenge to the protagonists. It is a corrupted form of Cherubimon (Virtue), reflecting how Angel Digimon can easily succumb to evil due to their extreme righteousness. Cherubimon (Vice)'s fall also illustrates the conflict between light and darkness in the Digital World.
