Goatmon

Goatmon (ゴートモン) is a Mammal Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its design is derived from the Goat (Capra aegagrus hircus), and its English name is based on the Oryx (Oryx beisa). Goatmon is the Armor Digivolved form of Gatomon, achieved through the Digi-Egg of Hope. It is programmed to hold large amounts of data and protect the secret treasures and ruins of the Digital World. The DigiCode on its gorget reads, "When Light and Shadow are joined, set us in the eyes of the goat that faces the high sun." Goatmon is typically depicted as a black goat-like creature with golden horns and a golden bell around its neck, symbolizing its sacred nature. Because of this, it's often tasked with guarding ancient places, objects, or scriptures. In the anime, Goatmon has appeared as a guardian of Ophanimon and has been part of Apollomon's army. Goatmon also appears in various Digimon video games, often as a collectible card or medal. Its attack techniques include special debuff attacks using a mystic bell, which can sometimes cause a stun effect.
