Cockatrimon

Cockatrimon (コカトリモン) is a Bird Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its name originates from the mythical Cockatrice, a creature with the ability to turn things to stone. Cockatrimon possesses two overdeveloped legs, having adapted to a terrestrial lifestyle over time, which has resulted in its inability to fly. This evolution has made its body large and its leg strength immense. Its wings have completely degenerated; during battles, it spreads them and its tail to intimidate opponents. While it is fiercely aggressive, it can also be timid when scared. It first appeared in the Digimon Adventure anime as a servant of Etemon, where it petrified Digimon and stole the Chosen Children's Tags. It has appeared in numerous other Digimon anime and games, often as an enemy or an evolvable Digimon. In games, Cockatrimon can evolve into Digimon such as Piccolomon or Parrotmon. Its signature attack is "Petra Fire," where it releases a mysterious aura that petrifies enemies.
