Gottsumon

Gottsumon, also known as Gotsumon, is a Rock Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its name derives from the Japanese word "gotsui," meaning "rough" or "hard." Gottsumon's body is composed of hard rocks, giving it strong defensive capabilities. It is a spunky and mischievous Digimon, often leading groups of lower-level Digimon. While generally playful, it can be selfish and prone to rampages when angered, resembling an erupting volcano. Gottsumon can adapt its armor by absorbing ore data from its surroundings, leading to different appearances and evolution paths. It has appeared in various Digimon anime series, sometimes as a minion of villains and other times as a partner of Chosen Children, such as a partner to an international Chosen Child who could digivolve into Monochromon. Gottsumon's versatility extends to different Digimon media, appearing in video games and trading card games, highlighting its diverse roles and impact within the Digimon universe.
