Gomamon

Gomamon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise, first appearing in the 1999 anime series *Digimon Adventure*. Its name and design are derived from the spotted seal (Gomafu Azarashi), and it is a Sea Animal Digimon. Gomamon has short, white fur that allows it to move on land. As it grows, its fur will lengthen and is said to turn brown. Its personality is mischievous, and it likes to fiddle with everything it sees. The red fur growing along its back from the top of its head moves according to Gomamon’s emotions, and when it gets angry, the fur bristles. Gomamon’s claws are strong enough to easily break through solid ice. In *Digimon Adventure*, Gomamon is the partner Digimon of Joe Kido, and is cheerful and energetic, though sometimes reckless, but deeply cares for his partner. It can evolve into Ikkakumon, Zudomon, and Vikemon. In addition to the anime, Gomamon has also appeared in various Digimon spin-offs such as manga and video games, and is a very popular character in the series.
