Sagomon

Sagomon (サゴモン) is a Demon Man Digimon from the Digimon franchise, first appearing in 2011. It is described as a Digimon who was banished from the Digital World's heaven and fell to the backwoods of North Bridge Island. Sagomon typically has a cheerful, joking personality, but if anyone touches the skulls wrapped around its waist, it flies into a rage. This is because if even one of the nine skulls around its waist is lost, it will transform into a terrifying Digimon. Sagomon wields a staff called the "Kouyouhoujou," which it can easily spin to create waterspouts (Kouyouhoujou: Kamon no Jin) or strike the ground to release raging currents (Kouyouhoujou: Taki no Jin). In close combat, it also uses a crescent-shaped blade to stab (Getsugazan). Troubled by the question "What am I?", it embarks on a journey to find the answer. Sagomon appears in the anime Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time, as well as in games like Digimon Crusader. It's a Perfect level Digimon with a Virus attribute, and it is often associated with the Journey to the West character, Sha Wujing.
