Sanzomon

Sanzomon (サンゾモン) is a Monk Digimon from the Digimon franchise, traveling the Digital World in pursuit of enlightenment. It has overcome numerous difficult trials and engages in ascetic training day and night. Though Sanzomon carries no weapons, it can execute various techniques by chanting sutras. Its abilities include the 'Dù Zichūn Sutra,' which restores Digimon to their senses; the 'Butterfly's Dream Sutra,' which materializes its own trials to attack enemies; and the 'Endless Barraging Heart Sutra,' which shows an illusion of scattered rosary beads attacking endlessly. Sanzomon's DigiCore accumulates pure energy needed for enlightenment, and it's rumored that stealing it grants eternal life. This attracts both enemies and Digimon seeking answers and truth, some of whom travel with Sanzomon. Sanzomon appears in Digimon Fusion, serving as Gokuwmon's master and a friend of Shoutmon. It imprisoned Gumdramon and placed the Kinkoji on its tail to aid in finding a true partner. Sanzomon is also featured in the Digimon Card Game as a card with special abilities.
