Shamamon (シャーマモン) is a fictional character in the Digimon franchise, classified as a Demon Digimon. It's typically depicted as a dark green goblin-like creature with red eyes, a yellow mohawk, and pointed ears. Shamamon wears a blue sleeveless jacket and a black belt, and wields a wooden club with screws. Throughout the Digimon storylines, Shamamon's role varies. It appears as a guardian, such as in Digimon Frontier, where it guards the Beast Spirit of Fire, and as a regular Digimon participating in various plots, like in Digimon Adventure:. Shamamon's attack techniques include "Mad Twist," where it shoots purple rings with its bone club, "Dancing Bone," where it throws its bone club, and "Sharma Hammer." In different Digimon games, Shamamon's appearance and attributes vary. For example, in Digimon World, it originally appeared brown and wielded a bone instead of a club. Shamamon can evolve from Dorimon and can evolve into various Digimon like Fugamon and Vegiemon. In Digimon World: Next Order, it can even evolve into Numemon or Geremon depending on its stats. Overall, Shamamon is a relatively common and recognizable Digimon in the series.
