Shine Greymon: Ruin Mode

ShineGreymon: Ruin Mode (シャイングレイモン：ルインモード) is a powerful Digimon from the Digimon franchise, classified as a Light Dragon Digimon and often considered a dark evolution of ShineGreymon. When ShineGreymon is defeated, wounded in pride, and consumed by resentment, it unleashes a new power and transforms into Ruin Mode. In this form, its original solar energy is converted into negative dark energy, drastically enhancing its special moves. However, if it draws out too much dark energy, it risks degenerating back into a Digi-Egg. Visually, Ruin Mode resembles a dark version of ShineGreymon Burst Mode, with gray, black, and dark red armor, and black flames on its back, hands, and tail tip. In some games, it lacks eyes. It first appeared in the Digimon Savers anime, followed by appearances in various Digimon games like Digimon Story: Sunburst/Moonlight and Digimon Story: Lost Evolution. Its evolution requirements vary across different media, often requiring specific levels and attributes. It also appears as a card in the Digimon Card Game.
