Jazamon

Jazamon (ジャザモン), also known as Machine Bird Digimon, is a Bird Dragon Digimon of the Rookie level in the Digimon franchise. It is a Machine Digimon shaped like a bird, capable of gliding from high places using its wings but unable to lift itself by flapping them. Jazamon is quite timid and cautious, always wary of moving objects around it. Its special move is the “Tap-tapping Pick” (Kokon Pick), where it pecks with its hard beak. Jazamon first appeared in the mobile game Digimon Linkz, where it is the second partner Digimon of the protagonist. In the Digimon lore, Jazamon is classified as either a Bird Dragon type or a Machine Dragon type, a Data attribute, and belongs to the Metal Empire. It has appeared in various Digimon games, with different evolution lines in different versions. For instance, in Digimon Linkz, it can evolve to Jazardmon, Jazarichmon, and Metallicdramon. The name “Jaza” possibly combines “Javelin” or the onomatopoeia “ZaZa/SaSa” for moving quickly through the air, highlighting its ability to fly at high speed.
