Chamblemon, written in Japanese as シャンブルモン, is a character in the Digimon series. Its name, "シャンブル", comes from the Japanese word "shamble," which refers to the act of shuffling or dragging one's feet while walking. Chamblemon made its debut in Digimon Ghost Game as a group, using spores to infect and kidnap brides. In the anime, they act as antagonists, turning infected individuals into mushroom-like forms, which they then consume. In "The White Bride" episode, Chamblemon kidnapped Tsukiyono Ruli, one of the main characters, leading to a series of events that the protagonists ultimately resolved. Chamblemon's design is possibly inspired by mushrooms or other fungi, characterized by their slow movement but large numbers. Chamblemon also appears in various forms such as cards in the Digimon virtual pet game, further expanding its presence in the Digimon universe. Despite being a villain in the anime, its unique design and story background have given it a recognizable place among Digimon fans.
