Skull Knightmon: Cavalier Mode

Skull Knightmon: Cavalier Mode is an Enhancement Digimon in the Digimon series, also known as the "Assault Mode." In this form, Skull Knightmon rides on Axemon's back, resembling the cavalry of old. Its primary purpose is to quickly approach enemies like a bullet, disregarding any obstacles. After Skull Knightmon charges with its "Kiba Braver," Axemon transforms into Skull Knightmon's Mighty Axe Mode to fight alongside Skull Knightmon. If the battle goes unfavorably, Axemon returns to Assault Mode to quickly retreat. Since Axemon has endless stamina and never tires, Skull Knightmon can repeat this tactic endlessly. As a result, Axemon is even more feared on the battlefield than Skull Knightmon. Skull Knightmon: Cavalier Mode first appeared in the Digimon Xros Wars manga omake, and later in various video games like Digimon Life and Digimon Collectors. Skull Knightmon itself is an Undead Digimon who became sworn brothers with Axemon, with the principle that "knights must fight, and even more, must win" guiding its actions. It resorts to any means necessary to achieve victory, excelling in combat that capitalizes on its large size, and does not hesitate to use underhanded tactics.
