Tailmon

Tailmon (テイルモン), also known as Gatomon in some English adaptations, is Hikari Yagami's partner Digimon in the Digimon franchise, first appearing in Digimon Adventure. It is an Adult-level Holy Beast Digimon of the Vaccine type, resembling a cat with a Holy Ring on its tail. Tailmon is known for its mature and calm demeanor, and its strong sense of responsibility. It is a capable fighter, using techniques like 'Cat Punch' and 'Cat's Eye.' Notably, Tailmon's default form is its Adult form, unlike most partner Digimon. Before meeting Hikari, Tailmon was manipulated by Myotismon and endured much suffering, contributing to its early mistrust. However, it eventually rediscovers its kindness and hope after meeting Hikari. Tailmon has appeared in numerous Digimon series and has diverse evolution paths, including Angewomon and Silphymon. It is an important partner to Hikari and a crucial character within the Digital World.
