Devimon

Devimon (デビモン) is a fictional character in the Digimon (デジタルモンスター／デジモン, Digital Monster) franchise. He first appears as a major antagonist in Digimon Adventure. Devimon is a Fallen Angel Digimon, clad in jet-black cloth, drawing inspiration from the mythological Devil, with horns, red eyes, and wings with holes. Originally a shining Angemon-species Digimon, he was lured to the Dark Side by DemiDevimon and fell to the Dark Area, becoming a fallen angel. The Mark of Evil is prominently displayed on his chest as proof of his fall. He is cunning and fiendish but also possesses an outstanding intellect. It is said that those who have stared into his deep crimson eyes are mind-controlled and completely dominated by Devimon. In Digimon Adventure, Devimon controls Digimon using Black Gears and attacks the DigiDestined multiple times, serving as a powerful early antagonist. He has also appeared in other Digimon anime series, manga, and video games, with slight variations in appearance and backstory across different works. Devimon often symbolizes darkness and evil, contrasting with the light and hope represented by Angemon.
