Troopmon (トループモン) is an artificial Digimon in the Digimon franchise, designed as a mass-produced combat unit. It typically appears as a humanoid figure clad in a black rubber combat suit, with its face covered by a gas mask, an energy pack on its back, and often armed with weapons resembling AK-47s or Thompson submachine guns. Troopmon's body is made of special rubber filled with energy stolen from other Digimon, making them tireless, pain-resistant, fearless, and without the need for sleep, functioning as purely fighting machines. They usually operate in groups, and though individually not very strong, their sheer numbers create a threat. Injured Troopmon have their energy extracted and transferred to a new rubber body, enabling them to regenerate and rejoin the battle. They appear in various Digimon series, often as a basic unit in enemy armies, such as the Bagra Army's infantry in Digimon Xros Wars and as soldiers of villains in Digimon Adventure:, highlighting their role as mass-produced combat units.
