Nidhoggmon

Nidhoggmon (ニーズヘッグモン) is a Dark Dragon Digimon from the Digimon franchise, characterized by its colossal size and a body that constantly absorbs vast amounts of energy, causing it to be in a perpetual state of thermal runaway. The color of the light emitted from its wings indicates the level of its thermal runaway, becoming redder as it approaches a dangerous state. Nidhoggmon repeatedly destroys and absorbs its surroundings, leaving nothing behind. Its special attacks include 'Annihilention,' firing red-hot beams from its eyes, and 'Rudiment,' a wave of condensed energy expelled from its mouth. In the Digimon Card Game, Nidhoggmon is a powerful Ultimate-level card with high DP and special abilities, like gaining +1 memory when discarded from the hand due to effects, and destroying an opponent's Lv.4 or below Digimon upon evolution by discarding a card. Its design is inspired by Nidhogg, a dragon from Norse mythology who gnaws on the roots of the World Tree. Nidhoggmon embodies a powerful destructive force in the Digimon world, highlighting the dark side of the Digimon universe.
