N.E.O (ネオ), in the Digimon series, is a mysterious digital lifeform that cannot be analyzed with current technology, and therefore is not classified as a "Digimon". N.E.O possesses the characteristics of all Digimon, including Dragon, Beast, Aquatic, Machine/Mutant, Holy, Dark, and Insect/Plant attributes. It is hypothesized to be the prototype for the "next-generation Digimon" of the Digital World system, known as Adam. Despite its small size, N.E.O possesses immense power, unmatched even by Ultimate-level Digimon. Its special technique, "Judgment", can reduce all existence to nothingness, while "Zero Genesis" can create new beings from nothingness, possessing the power to reshape the Digital World. N.E.O first appeared in the manga *Digimon Next*, created by Barbamon by fusing Pitchmon and eight DigiMemories. It also appears in *Digimon Pendulum Ver.20th* as a password Digimon.
