Bakemon

Bakemon (バケモン) is a Ghost Digimon from the Digimon franchise, whose name originates from the Japanese word "bakemono," meaning ghost or monster. It's typically depicted as a levitating spirit covered in a white cloth, revealing only its sharp-toothed mouth. Born in the Dark Area, Bakemon's body is composed of a malevolent virus program, and it's said to destroy computer systems by possessing them. Bakemon prefers not to engage in direct attacks due to its weak fighting strength, but it possesses various attack techniques such as "Hell's Hand," unleashing dark energy to strike its enemies. Bakemon appears across various Digimon anime, manga, and video games, often as an antagonist or a common enemy. In "Digimon Adventure," Bakemon are residents of the Overdell Cemetery on File Island and were also used by Myotismon as soldiers. In games, Bakemon usually evolves from other Digimon and can evolve into stronger forms, such as Phantomon or Myotismon.
