Bacomon

Bacomon (バコモン) is a Mutant Digimon that hides its entire body within cardboard boxes. It is timid and prefers to stay indoors, but the cardboard covering gives it a sense of security, allowing it to move about outdoors freely. Anyone trying to peek inside the boxes will be packed into and trapped within one. Bacomon is not fond of battling, as its cardboard covering is very soft. It first appeared in "Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time," where several types were seen in the Amusement Park of Dreams, and one helped Akashi Tagiru, Kudou Taiki, and Amano Yuu fight against Sephirothmon and Jokermon. In "Digimon Adventure:", some Bacomon were part of Junkmon Industries, building walls around a volcano to redirect lava flow. Bacomon's design comes from an entry by Kenichi Ishii in the 2011 V-Jump Award Original Digimon Contest. Its Japanese name, "Bacomon", comes from "danbōru bako" (ダンボール箱), meaning "cardboard box."
