Baboongamon

Baboongamon, (バブンガモン) is a Beast Digimon from the Digimon franchise. This Digimon is known for its strong sense of territoriality, constructing nests in high-altitude locations such as cliffs and rocky mountains. A notable feature of Baboongamon is the characteristic rocks that cover parts of its skin; these rocks regenerate and harden each time they break. Furthermore, the Digimon within a group that possesses the hardest rocks assumes the role of the territory's leader. Baboongamon's special attacks include "Mount Stone," where it hurls rocks from its arms, and "Glide Rocks," in which it strikes opponents with its rock-covered tail at great speed. The name is derived from the word 'Baboon' and the Japanese term 'ganseki' (岩石), meaning 'rock'. Baboongamon debuted in 2020, appearing in Digimon virtual pet games and later in card games. Classified as an Adult level Digimon with a Vaccine attribute, it is part of the Nature Spirits field. The design inspiration for Baboongamon comes from baboons and rocks, showcasing its ruggedness and territorial nature.
