Palmon

Palmon (パルモン) is a fictional character in the Digimon franchise, first appearing in the 1997 Digital Monster virtual pet. It is a Vegetation Digimon, resembling a green creature with a palm-like body and a tropical flower on its head. Though it evolves from Tanemon, a reptile-like Digimon, it is classified as a Plant Digimon due to its appearance and abilities. During the day, Palmon opens its flower and leaf-like arms for photosynthesis, and absorbs nutrients with its root-like feet. When happy, it emits a sweet fragrance, but a foul stench when angry or sensing danger. Palmon is the partner Digimon of Mimi Tachikawa, and appears in various Digimon anime, manga, and video games, known for its unique plant-based traits and diverse evolutions. Its main attacks include Poison Ivy, used to attack and restrain enemies. Palmon's evolutions include Togemon, Lilymon, and Rosemon.
