Butenmon

Butenmon (ブテンモン) is a God Man Digimon in the Digimon franchise, resembling a samurai with exceptional swordsmanship skills and immense combat power. Wielding a massive katana, it expertly employs its sword techniques in battle, capable of challenging even some Mega-level Digimon. Reputed to be one of the strongest swordsmen in the Digital World, Butenmon is inherently honorable and benevolent, fighting exclusively for justice. It appears in games like Digimon Story: Lost Evolution and can digivolve from Buraimon, as well as digivolve into Chronomon Holy Mode. Its renowned attacks include "Nichirin no Mai" (Dance of the Sun), where it rotates its massive sword in a slashing motion, and "Gyoukou Issen" (Dawn Light Flash), cleaving opponents with its holy energy-clad sword. The name "Butenmon" derives from the Japanese words "Bushi" (warrior/samurai) and "Tengu" (a humanoid crow yokai), reflecting its samurai appearance and mystical abilities.
