Proximamon

Proximamon (プロキシマモン) is a unique Digimon in the Digimon series, possessing mysterious powers that command creation and destruction. It is considered a “theoretical” Digimon predicted by simulations run on high-speed processors, making its actual existence in the real Digital World unknown. Proximamon can generate both holy and evil energies, using the latter to disintegrate all matter in the Digital World and then reconstituting it with holy energy to create entirely new forms. Its mere existence possesses the power to dismantle and reconstruct everything around it, posing a risk of instantly rewriting the entire Digital World upon its appearance. To prevent misuse of this power, information about its evolution conditions is strictly classified. Proximamon’s attacks include the “Extinction Cloud,” which uses black particles to break down all matter, and the “Light of Re-creation,” which uses a holy-light infused battle axe to reconstitute matter, both of which are perpetually active. Its name comes from Proxima Centauri, the closest star to Earth, symbolizing its fusion of light and darkness. In the Digimon series, Proximamon appears as an obtainable Mega-level Digimon in the Gammamon BEMemory for the Vital Bracelet BE, and it can be achieved by DNA Digivolution from Siriusmon and Arcturusmon.
