Pomumon

Pomumon (ポームモン) is a Vegetation Digimon from the Digimon franchise. It resembles a bird but is actually a plant-type Digimon filled with sweet, sugary juice, making it a natural target for Bird and Insect-type Digimon. Despite having wings, Pomumon mainly moves on land due to its slow flight speed, leaving it vulnerable. When it senses danger, it defends itself with "Rapid Seed," spitting out numerous seed-like projectiles. Pomumon’s design is based on the dragon fruit, initially featuring a modern avian beak that was later changed to an Archaeopteryx-style one. In Digimon Adventure:, Pomumon was hunted and turned into fruit by Toropiamon, but was rescued by Sora Takenouchi and Birdramon, later joining other Pomumon to stop Toropiamon’s poison. Pomumon has also appeared in other Digimon media, such as Digimon ReCollection, Digimon Seekers ~Witch of the Crossroads~, and various trading card games.
