PawnChessmon (White), also known as ポーンチェスモン（白）, is a Puppet Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its design is inspired by the white pawn chess piece, and it resembles a chess piece in appearance. PawnChessmon (White) was born from data leaked from a chess game supercomputer. Initially weak, it evolves as it strives for prominence, said to possess power comparable to a Mega-level Digimon. Its catchphrase is, "I only advance!" and it considers those ahead of it as rivals. PawnChessmon (White) uses attacks such as "Pawn Spear" for thrusting attacks and "Pawn Buckler" for defensive counterattacks. When supported by allies, it can use the "Pyramid Formation" to withstand even Ultimate-level Digimon attacks. It appears in various Digimon anime, manga, and games, including Digimon Savers and Digimon Xros Wars, and has been a partner Digimon for key characters. Its evolution line includes KnightChessmon (White), BishopChessmon (White), and KingChessmon, eventually reaching powerful Mega forms.
