  • Chinese: 漂游兽
  • Japanese: ポヨモン
  • English: Poyomon
Poyomon, also known as Puyomon, is a Baby I Slime Digimon in the Digimon franchise. With a translucent body, it drifts through the Net Ocean like a jellyfish. It is considered the most primitive Digimon discovered to date, earning it the moniker of the "Missing Link" in the mystery of Digimon origins. Its name comes from the Japanese word "poyopoyo," which describes children toddling around. Poyomon has a soft, sticky body, and uses its tentacles to attach to objects or other Digimon. It emits a tingling static electricity called Pachipachi Gas, which is considered its unique form of communication. When multiple Poyomon stick together, their Pachipachi Gas becomes more powerful, making the surrounding area difficult to approach. Poyomon appears in various anime series, manga, and video games as a Baby Digimon, often evolving into other forms for battle. It is notably featured in Digimon Adventure as the devolved form of Takeru Takaishi's partner, Patamon. Its evolutionary paths include Tokomon and Gomamon, which depend on different games and stories. Poyomon is generally portrayed as cute and weak in its initial form.
