Boltmon

Boltmon, also known as Borutomon, is a fictional character in the Digimon franchise, a cyborg Digimon whose design is inspired by Frankenstein's monster. Boltmon is described as a prototype Digimon created at the same time as Andromon. Unlike the mechanical Andromon, Boltmon possesses emotions and power surpassing Andromon, but due to its difficulty in controlling and its tendency to run wild, it was ultimately abandoned in darkness. The scientists who created it denied its existence due to their own egos, causing Boltmon to wander in the darkness of its sorrow. Boltmon appears in various Digimon media, sometimes as a powerful antagonist, other times as a character in need of help, with different stories and encounters. It is often depicted as a strong warrior wielding a giant axe, with the ability to manipulate lightning and create tornadoes. Boltmon has appeared in Digimon anime, manga, and video games, playing diverse roles in each. Its existence, to some extent, explores philosophical themes of science, emotion, and the meaning of existence.
