Manticoremon

Manticoremon is a Dark Animal Digimon. It is a ferocious Digimon that prefers to consume the Digicores of Virus-type Digimon. It is employed by Angel Digimon due to their observation of its obsession with devilish viruses. Manticoremon lacks intelligence and reasoning; its sole purpose is to consume the data of others. It exhibits such extreme brutality in battle that even the Angel Digimon that employ it sometimes lose control. Manticoremon's design incorporates angelic elements despite its nature as a savage folkloric monster, which reflects its contradictory nature as a Virus-attribute Virus Buster Digimon. Concept sketches suggest that Manticoremon may have been partly conceptualized as a Perfect evolution of Gargomon, though no evolutionary relationship has been established in any released Digimon media. Manticoremon's neckcloth has Digimoji writing that translates to "Judgement unto evil". In the Digimon Ghost Game anime, Darcmon use Manticoremon as servants. One Manticoremon escapes, consumes data about a Japanese rural town's werewolf legend, and terrorizes the town, its attacks delivering potent venom.
