Meicoomon

Meicoomon (メイクーモン) is a Digimon appearing in Digimon Adventure tri., serving as the partner Digimon of Meiko Mochizuki. She resembles a long-haired cat with distinctive large ears, a tail, and two scarf-like feelers around her neck. Meicoomon is characterized by her naive, playful, and easily frightened personality, deeply relying on Meiko for reassurance. She speaks with a Chūgoku accent and often uses dialect words like "daga" and "dandan," the latter of which holds special significance as the first word Meiko taught her. Meicoomon possesses an unstable destructive power due to a shard of Apocalymon's data, which is triggered by fear or pain, causing her to enter a "Saltation" state where she becomes feral and undergoes mutations. Her presence destabilizes the digital and real worlds, leading to Infected Digimon and system malfunctions, thus making her a target of Yggdrasill. In Digimon Adventure tri., Meicoomon's fate is complex, culminating in a fusion with Ordinemon and the subsequent reboot of the worlds.
