MetallifeKuwagamon is an Insect Digimon of the Perfect level and Virus attribute in the Digimon franchise. It is a subspecies of Kuwagamon that has dramatically increased its attack power through weaponization. Its form has become humanoid, gaining melee abilities, boasting both a hard carapace and nimble movements, achieving top-class balance among Ultimate Digimon. MetallifeKuwagamon can fire Homing Laser beams from the barrels on its fingertips with adjustable trajectory, enabling it to hit foes around obstructions. It uses Blade Emission to release cutting beams, demonstrating its might in close-quarters combat. In Digimon Xros Wars, MetallifeKuwagamon was seen working with many BladeKuwagamon to stop Tai and Izzy from preventing the ISS from crashing. It appears as a card or medal in various Digimon games and can evolve in virtual pets. Its name derives from the scientific name of stag beetles, reflecting its enhanced stag beetle nature.
