Metal Greymon: Alterous Mode

Metal Greymon: Alterous Mode is an enhanced form of Metal Greymon in the Digimon franchise. It gains immense power through further mechanization of its upper body, particularly its right arm. This arm is transformed into a massive energy cannon called "Alterous," allowing it to fire positron blasts at sublight speed or convert energy into a positron blade for slashing. This form showcases perfect combat ability at both short and long ranges, enabling it to defeat any formidable foe. In *Digimon Adventure:*, it is the partner Digimon of Yagami Taichi, first appearing during the battle against Splashmon, where it uses its right arm to destroy the foe. Its design incorporates elements of Ceratosaurus and the classic monster Gomora, featuring orange scales, blue stripes, purple wings, a robotic left arm, and the energy cannon right arm. It also appears in the Digimon card game, with card numbers BT5-015 and P-072. There are slight variations in the way its name is written in different media, sometimes omitting the colon or “Alterous Mode”.
