Lianpumon

Lianpumon (リェンフーモン) is a Mutant Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its name derives from "Lianpu," a type of traditional Chinese opera mask. Lianpumon is characterized by its collection of distinctive masks and its love for festive environments. It constantly switches between masks to liven up any atmosphere. When one mask is removed, another immediately appears beneath, thus no one has seen its true face. Lianpumon rarely speaks, instead using gestures, body language, and mask changes to communicate its emotions. According to legend, the masks hidden in its cape resemble Digimon it is close to. In battle, it demonstrates tactical prowess, using different masks to activate various abilities. Its expressionless mask, "Teppeki-no-Sō," dramatically increases its defense, hardening its body like ore. When an ally is injured, it wears the "Kenshin-no-Sō" mask, displaying a loving expression, allowing it to share data and rapidly heal wounds. Its special move, "Kyūshu Kyūmen Geki," involves donning a mask of anger and hurling the masks as shuriken. Lianpumon debuted in the game *Digimon New Century*, becoming playable in 2022 as an event reward. Its unique design and versatile combat style have made it a popular Digimon among fans.
