Rukamon (ルカモン) is an aquatic mammal-type Digimon from the Digimon franchise, whose name is derived from the Japanese word "iruka," meaning "dolphin." It is described as a unique Digimon that originated from software designed to investigate interspecies communication. Rukamon primarily inhabits the ocean and is capable of high-speed movement within it. It possesses advanced intelligence but a complex thought process that is difficult for ordinary people to understand. Though it dislikes meaningless battles, it won't back down from a challenge. Its special ability includes emitting high-intensity ultrasonic waves from its mouth, called "Shaking Pulse," typically used for communication but also for combat. Rukamon can evolve from various Digimon such as Betamon, Gabumon, and Gomamon, and can also evolve into multiple forms, including Whamon Perfect and Mega Seadramon. In the anime "Digimon Adventure 02," Rukamon helped the DigiDestined alongside Mega Seadramon. Rukamon has appeared in numerous Digimon games, popular with players for its unique abilities and evolution paths. Its design concept and niche make it unique in the Digimon world, symbolizing the mystery and power of the ocean.
