Locomon

Locomon, known as ロコモン in Japanese, is a Machine Digimon from the Digimon franchise. It resembles a steam locomotive and its purpose is to keep running, transporting data within the Digital World. In a world with a large flow of information, Vehicle-type Digimon like Locomon are valuable for their speed in conveying data. However, older models of Locomon can sometimes run wild due to their pursuit of speed. It first appeared in the Digimon Card Game in 2002 and played a significant role in the movie Digimon Tamers: Runaway Locomon, where it went on a rampage along the Yamanote Line in Tokyo after being possessed. In Digimon Xros Wars, Locomon is the partner of Kiichi Funabashi and can fly through the air like the Galaxy Express 999, taking children around the world. Its special attacks include "Steam Bomb", launching steam bombs from its chimney, and "Wheel Grinder", firing spiked wheels. Locomon usually moves on rails but can warp spacetime by rotating.
