Charlie Nash

Charlie Nash (チャーリー・ナッシュ), also known as Nash, is a fictional character in Capcom's Street Fighter series. He was first mentioned in 1991's Street Fighter II: The World Warrior as Guile's deceased friend, killed by M. Bison prior to the game's events. Nash made his first playable appearance in 1995's Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams. He is depicted as a Captain in the United States Air Force, dedicated to investigating M. Bison and destroying his organization, Shadaloo. As a playable character, his fighting style is similar to Guile's, sharing iconic moves such as the Sonic Boom and Somersault Kick. In Street Fighter V, Nash is resurrected with a modified body and a drastically changed, colder, and vengeful personality. He gains new abilities like energy absorption and teleportation, ultimately sacrificing himself in his pursuit of revenge. Despite his transformation, his friendship with Guile remains a pivotal aspect of his story, culminating in his ultimate sacrifice to weaken Bison so that Ryu could defeat him.
