Kasugano Sakura

Sakura Kasugano (春日野 さくら) is a fictional character in Capcom's Street Fighter series, first appearing in Street Fighter Alpha 2 in 1996. She is a young Japanese high school girl with a passion for martial arts, particularly idolizing the fighter Ryu. She has self-taught herself many of Ryu's techniques and aspires to be trained by him personally. Sakura is known for her iconic sailor uniform and red bloomers, and is characterized by her energetic and optimistic personality. In the games, she emulates Ryu's fighting style, developing her own unique moves that emphasize speed and close-range combat. She has also appeared in numerous crossover games, as well as manga, anime, and other media. Her design has evolved over time, and in Street Fighter V, she is depicted as a young woman working at an arcade, no longer a high school student, but still retains her passion for fighting.
