Yang

Yang (ヤン), is a character from the Street Fighter (ストリートファイター) series. He first appeared as a palette swap of his older twin brother, Yun, in Street Fighter III: New Generation before gaining his own unique moveset in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact. Yang is an introverted inline skater from Hong Kong, skilled in Chinese Kung Fu. His appearance is similar to his brother in many aspects, wearing a red changshan with black and yellow trim, yellow fingerless gloves, dark pants, and sneakers. Unlike Yun, Yang does not wear a cap, sporting a distinctive hairstyle with long, jagged bangs. In terms of personality, Yang is cooler and more reserved than his twin brother Yun, though he can be condescending and eager to prove himself, especially stronger than his brother. He enjoys films and is confident in his Kung Fu. Yang, along with his brother, is active in their community, helping maintain peace and settling disputes. Although he once harbored feelings for their childhood friend, Hoimei, he gave up on them knowing she likes Yun. Yang's fighting style is a combination of Bajiquan and Praying Mantis Kung Fu, characterized by his fast and versatile attacks. In the Street Fighter IV series, Yang accompanied Yun on missions with Chun-Li and became a playable character in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.
