Oro

Oro (オロ) is a fictional character in the Street Fighter series of fighting games by Capcom. He first appeared in Street Fighter III and is depicted as an ancient martial arts master living as a recluse in the Amazon, said to be over 140 years old. Oro is of Japanese descent and is skilled in a mysterious martial art called "senjutsu". To make fights fair, he usually seals one of his arms but can unleash it at any time. Despite his limited appearances, Oro is well-received, with his unusual character design a focus of much commentary. Oro has a casual personality, enjoys fighting strong opponents, and harbors a liking for young women. He is often searching for someone to inherit his martial arts and shows a particular interest in Ryu. In Street Fighter V, Oro returns with his pet turtle Yamasen and interacts with characters like Dhalsim and Rose.
