Dudley

Dudley, or ダッドリー in Japanese, is a fictional character from Capcom's *Street Fighter* series. He first appeared in *Street Fighter III: New Generation* in 1997. Unlike other boxers in the series, Dudley is portrayed as a well-mannered English gentleman, known for his refined boxing skills and commitment to clean fighting. He comes from a wealthy British aristocratic family; his father was a successful athlete turned businessman. After his father's business failed, Dudley pursued boxing to restore his family's fortune. His storylines often revolve around recovering his father's antique car or seeking new rose varieties for his garden. Dudley is popular among players and has appeared as a playable character in *Super Street Fighter IV*, an update to *Street Fighter IV*, and in *Street Fighter X Tekken*. He typically wears tidy green suit trousers with suspenders, a white shirt, and a bow tie, always maintaining his gentlemanly demeanor, and often sports boxing gloves.
