Crimson Viper, also known as C. Viper or Maya, is a fictional character in the Street Fighter series. She debuted in Street Fighter IV, and is a secret agent of the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), known for her high-tech battle suit equipped with various gadgets. Viper's fighting style combines martial arts with high-tech weaponry, using electric shocks from her gloves and jet propulsion from her boots. In the story, she infiltrates S.I.N. under cover, to investigate its links with Shadaloo and find information about the BLECE project. Her character is complex, with a cold and professional agent side as well as a tender side as a mother. Her goal is always to complete her missions and protect her daughter in her own way. She has interactions with many Street Fighter characters, some hostile, others more complex.
