Seth

Seth, known as "The Puppet Master" in the Street Fighter series, first appeared in Street Fighter IV as the main antagonist and final boss. He is the CEO of S.I.N., Shadaloo's weapons development division. Seth is not human, but a heavily modified synthetic being with a device called the "Tanden Engine" embedded in his abdomen, enabling him to mimic other fighters' moves. In Street Fighter V, Seth returns in a feminine "Doll Unit Zero" form, while retaining his unique fighting style. His design was inspired by Seth Killian, a former community manager for the series, along with design elements from characters like Dr. Manhattan of "Watchmen". Despite Seth's power, he was criticized for his bland design and difficulty, but his return in Street Fighter V has been met with more positive reception. He is characterized as calm, cunning, ambitious, and desiring to break free from his role as a replacement for M. Bison.
