Hakan

Hakan (ハカン) is a fictional character in the *Street Fighter* series, debuting in *Super Street Fighter IV*. He is the first Turkish character in the series, known for his unique fighting style, Yağlı güreş (Turkish oil wrestling). Hakan is a large, red-skinned man with distinctive turquoise hair and a mustache, and he is the president of a leading edible oil company. He is a devoted family man, with his wife Melike and seven daughters. Hakan participates in the *Street Fighter* tournament not for revenge or training, but to showcase his wrestling skills and search for the perfect oil recipe. In gameplay, he coats himself in oil to enhance his range and defense. He is an old friend of Japanese sumo wrestler E. Honda, though they often argue about which fighting style is superior. Hakan is known for his quirky design and comedic fighting style.
