Kagenaru Mono

Kage, also known as Kagenaru Mono, is a character introduced in the fourth season of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. After Ryu overcame the Satsui no Hado within him, it was assumed that the persona of Evil Ryu had been vanquished. However, the Satsui no Hado surprisingly developed sentience and manifested as its own separate physical entity, calling itself "Kagenaru Mono". Kage's appearance is very similar to Ryu's, but with darker skin, red eyes, fangs, and horns. He wears a tattered dark blue gi, is shirtless, and has a red headband. Kage exists to prove to Ryu that he is nothing without him, and seeks to challenge Ryu's rivals, such as Akuma and Sagat, to prove this. He is a ruthless, power-hungry entity, embodying the darkness within Ryu.
