Marisa Rossetti, also known as the "Glory Seeker," is a character from the Street Fighter franchise, debuting as one of the new characters in Street Fighter 6. She is an Italian jewelry designer who claims ancestry from Ancient Greek warriors. Marisa's gladiatorial look was inspired by a childhood vision of the Colosseum in its prime. She primarily uses Pankration, an ancient Greek fighting style that combines wrestling and boxing. Marisa is a zealous and upbeat warrior who lives for battle, praises her opponents, and has a keen eye for art and jewelry. She is immensely proud of her Greek heritage and knowledgeable about ancient history, particularly in pankration and Roman gladiators. In Street Fighter 6, Marisa is known for her powerful close-to-mid range attacks, high-damage combos, and her unique "Marisa Style," which allows her to charge heavy attacks to increase their power and alter their properties. She is the first openly confirmed bisexual character in the series' lore, and in the World Tour mode, she chooses to marry both a man and a woman, demonstrating her love for everyone.
