Sub-Zero

Sub-Zero is an iconic character in the Mortal Kombat series, renowned for his ability to control ice and his distinctive blue ninja attire. In reality, Sub-Zero is not one person, but rather a mantle held by two brothers: Bi-Han and Kuai Liang. Bi-Han was the original Sub-Zero, appearing in the first Mortal Kombat game, later killed by Scorpion and becoming the wraith Noob Saibot. Kuai Liang took over the mantle in Mortal Kombat II, and has continued as Sub-Zero in subsequent games. Sub-Zero's powers include freezing opponents, creating ice traps, and more. In the storyline, Sub-Zero was initially an assassin of the Lin Kuei clan, but chose to leave after witnessing the clan's corruption, becoming one of Earthrealm's protectors. His rivalry with Scorpion is also central to the series' plot. Sub-Zero is one of the few characters to be playable in every main installment of the Mortal Kombat series, and remains a fan favorite.
